Knox diagnosed a brain bleed in 10 mins of admission. I have kept a mum and she has been a nana to 11 grandkids she may have never seen. In public we would have been sitting there for god knows how long.
  • Kimberly*
I had an operation on my wrist and the nurses at Flinders Private were the most amazing people I have come across. They looked after me so well and made me feel better about the operation.
  • Vivien*
I had hereditary bunions and could only wear mens lace up shoes. I had both feet operated on at once and got it over and done with. I'll never have pretty feet but now they're normal and straight and I can wear sandals for the first time in my life.

The result of an horrific car accident I lost the use of my hip. Without their skilled surgeons, staff and physio my recovery would have taken longer and not been as successful. Thanks to them I returned to work and lead a near complete life.

Every time my grandfather is admitted he is treated with respect and has a comfortable stay. This is important to me because my grandfather is important to me. Private hospitals make all the difference in assuring his well being and therefore my happiness and peace of mind.

My dad was in private hospital being treated for cancer. They took the utmost care of him right from beginning to end. The staff were amazing and compassionate to our family, the best care in the world is private and I thank them.
  • Rosemary*
At a very scary time, the staff went out of their way to make me feel safe and secure. Their happy smiles and conversation along with superb care made all of the difference!

Boxing Day 1984 Public Hospital surgeons were on strike so I ended up in a private hospital. The personal service, sensitivity to my young age and ensuring that I enjoyed New Years Eve made me want to stay another week.

My husband who is an AFL mascot had a very warm appearance for family day after winning the Grand Final in 2009! He ended up in hospital after dehydrating badly! See hospital cover really does extend to animals - in this case Cats!!

In 2001, at 37 I gave birth to my first child. Luckily I was able to choose my private hospital. I was made to feel special, in at that age, was a very scary process. I felt nurtured and cared for. My son had a great start to life.
