My daughter Bridget has been in Westmead Private Hospital since early Feb with neurological problems. The expertise of her surgeon has been amazing but the most important factor in her road to recovery has been the support and care of every person at this hospital-each nurse,the ward manager, the cleaners, the security guard, the catering staff, the florist, the chaplain, the kiosk staff, the admin desk staff and the Director/Manager of this hospital. We know them all. They have given Bridget love and encouragement, but more importantly , they have given us, her parents, understanding and support as we drive an hour to be there each day. We know this hospital values each patient and their staff live up to the highest standards set. We can be optimistic because this care nourishes us, her family, and Bridget herself knows she is valued too. What a combination !!! Thankyou Westmead

What a fantastic program - senior midwifery support in the comfort of a lovely hotel room overlooking Coogee beach with the support of my husband by my side!

my life has been completely rejuvinated because of the attentiveness they paid to my heart elictronic control mechanism not working well, causing me much discomfort and some panic in my life when this event took place. The fast pulsing of my heart was quite bad as i tried to stop it happening. Whilst undergoing a total knee replacement, on about my fourth recovery day one of these events took place. The Doctor had me sent straight to the intensive care section, gave me an injection which was known to negate the awful pulsing action. Over the next few days specialists checked over the condition and gave me the option to have surgery or to take tablets for the rest of my days. I opted for the tablets and have not had an incident since I took that decision. My total knee replacement is working very well and I am very happy with life!!
