my local private Hospital at Stirling, SA 5152, is so readily accessible to me. I live in the Pinoak Tiers Retirement Village which is owned by this hospital. I have been there for X-rays, blood tests, and minor day or overnight surgeries. It is also a venue where I can consult with visiting doctors from Adelaide. I have rarely had to wait for treatment and the hospital staff are always friendly, encouraging, professional and cannot be faulted. I am so grateful to have such a personalized, caring and wellrun hospital so nearby.

Gave birth at Freemasons in Melbourne April this year and stayed there for 5 days to fully recover. I was given a suite with queen bed, and overlooking the Fitzroy Garden. Food was 5 star and absolutely fantastic! The nurses were just lovely. Felt like I was on holiday!

Filled with fear I walked Into Frances Perry for breast reconstruction surgery. I spoke with the nurses and my fears were put to rest. They treated me like family. The entire stay was fantastic, I had no pain/swelling when I left. The surgery was better than I could imagine.

We have been to the Allamanda several times, but the visit I remember best was the day my daughter stuck a spring up her nose! They were so gentle and kind and she was treated so quickly and efficiently, she did not even cry! Well done Allamanda, and thanks!

I WAS IN CABRINI 2002 HAVING BOWEL CANCER OPERATION. WAS IN FOR 9 DAYS AND WAS VERY ENCOURAGED TO HAVE A GREAT PRIVATE HOSPITAL TO FALL BACK ON. IT WENT AS WELL AS COULD BE EXPECTED CONSIDERING I CHANGED SURGEONS AND HOSPITAL VENUE AT LAST MINUTE.

But weeks ago I suffered from sudden ischaemia to the brain and legs. I needed peace and quiet, a doctor with time and understanding - a place where every health care practitioner gave time to quality care. I received all that and more: physiotherapy, a comfortable room and wonderful nutrition helped.

During high school I was diagnosed with spontaneous pneumothorax. After many collapsed lungs, I was required to have surgery. Despite being extremely terrified I was reassured by all the doctors and nurses at St George Private hospital. Reflecting upon it now I'm still grateful for their care and understanding.

New mothers and baby program. A private room and a nurse doting on my baby and I 24/7. They even had a cook that came in and cooked for my husband and I our own private "dining experience" along with menu to choose from and candle lit dinner.

My Doctor said Gawler was the place. As scared as I was, and so far from home, not far from my bed did the nurses roam. Giving support in big and small ways, Gawler Private in my heart will stay.

Dad spent 7 weeks in Baulkham Hill Private after spinal surgery paralysed him. The nurses treated dad with respect and dignity every moment. To us they were our lifeline to dad's care. Dad passed away 3 months ago and to the very last day he spoke highly of those nurses.
