This is not a story about me as such, still very life-changing for me. Thanks to fast thinking Private Hospitals my best friends baby boy was delivered safe into this world, I got the first hold which is something I'll cherish forever! Private Hospitals are invaluable!

My now 2 year old was premature. He required transport in a NICU ambulance to the Mercy while I had to stay at Waverley Private. Knowing how hard the separation would be the nurses moved heaven and earth to provide me with a private room away from other mums with babies.

They helped my little new born nephew. When he was born he had to stay in intensive care on machines. They helped him get better.

To be honest it's just better in every way!

My doctor's wife had her baby in the room next door the same day I had my first son. My boy was cuter and the nurses said so too! The services were excellent and my husband got to stay too, which let us enjoy our baby even more.

Knowing you have personal care when you are in a private hospital and your just not a bed number. Knowing you can rest up in private rooms and that having your operation is booked and not have to wait years on a waiting list.

When I was able to get my wisdom teeth removed only a few short weeks after being told by the dentist I needed to have them taken out.

I contacted my (then) private health insurance company, the go-ahead to be treated in a private hospital was granted. I got a private room, free local calls, bottled water and felt that I well looked after from the time of my arrival, to departure.

I had been waiting and in pain for surgery. I ended up going private and the problem was taken care of in no time at all

I, was recently admitted to St. Andrews Ipswich Private Hospital for two days. While my stay was only short, from the time I checked in, until the time I left, I felt it a pleasure to be in hospital. All the nurses and staff were very professional in their job, but did their job because they enjoyed being there. With all the negatives you get in the media about hospitals these days , you should all be very proud of yourselves. 10 out of 10 from me. St Andrews, THANK YOU.
